Yes, Terranea Resort is pet friendly with designated pet areas. Pets are permitted outdoors at sea beans, Nelson’s, and our public trails. For health and safety purposes, pets may not sit at or on top of tables/chairs while visiting these restaurants. Pets are not permitted at any pools, The Spa, indoor lobby, or The Links golf facilities. Pet owners are responsible for picking up after their pets, with convent stations located throughout the resort. Pets must be leashed while on property at all times. Resort guests are allowed one dog up to 50 pounds or two dogs up to a combined 75 pounds, and are permitted to Casita accommodations only. Guests must notify Terranea Resort Reservations of their intent to bring a pet in advance of arrival. A non-refundable pet fee will be applied ($295 Casita, $395 Casita Suite, $595 Multi-Unit Casita Suite). Guests will be responsible for any damages that may occur, as well as fiscally responsible for any disturbance the pet may create. Guests will ensure that the pet does not disrupt the enjoyment of other guests. For safety purposes, accommodations will not be provided housekeeping service while pet is in the room.

Terranea Resort does not permit any photography or filming on the resort grounds. Additionally, the unauthorized use of drones is strictly prohibited. This policy is a result of confidentiality agreements with respect to resort guests and special event area restrictions.

Yes, we offer two parking options. Overnight Valet Parking: $67/night daily Visitor Parking: $27 ($10 with validation)

Check-in time begins at 4:00 PM. Check-out is 11:00 AM. If you require a later check-out, please contact Guest Services before 10:00 AM on the day of departure. When possible, we are happy to accommodate requests for early check-in or late check-out. However, we may not be able to honor such requests due to the resort’s occupancy, availability of specific room types, and the time required for our Housekeeping department to clean and prepare guest accommodations. If we are not able to honor your request, you are welcome to utilize the resort’s amenities.

Yes. Terranea is a family resort where children 17 and younger stay at no additional charge in the same room as their parents. The resort offers spacious accommodations and Villas for families and incredible amenities and activities, including the Kid's Club, pools, and golf lessons. The resort offers pack ‘n plays for the comfort of young children.

The Links at Terranea is a par-3, 9-hole, Resort golf course open to the public.

A total of nine outdoor venues offer 75,000 square feet of additional space for events. Choose from sunlit terraces and lush natural lawns poised above coastal bluffs, all with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean. With a gently rolling lawn and a dramatic ocean backdrop, the Palos Verdes Meadows is an ideal venue for outdoor weddings and special occasions and provides 16,000 square feet of event space. Equally breathtaking, the 13,000-square-foot Palos Verdes Terrace flows seamlessly from the adjacent Palos Verdes Ballroom to complement grand celebrations or set the stage for elegant outdoor gatherings.
