Swing Into Ocean Views
Nestled along the cliffs of the Palos Verdes Peninsula, The Links at Terranea offers a one-of-a-kind golfing experience on a 9-hole, par-3 oceanfront course designed by Todd Eckenrode of Origins Golf Design. The course is defined by lush natural terrain and dramatic vistas overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Catalina Island, providing golfers with unparalleled beauty as they play.
With tee placements ranging from 104 to 173 yards, the course is designed to challenge both beginners and experienced golfers alike. Elevation changes, artful bunkering, green contours, and unobstructed sightlines make each hole a unique test of skill. The course can be played in approximately two hours, leaving plenty of time to explore the resort or enjoy other activities.
About The Course
The Links features nine par-3 holes, each woven through natural surroundings with elevation changes, strategic bunkering, and green contours. Every hole has a distinctive name, adding to the allure and challenge of the course.
Course Tour
#1 Long Point
Like its namesake, the green complex has a lot of movement, requiring precision and careful strategy for a successful shot.
#2 Boomerang
A boomerang-shaped green wraps around a small but strategic bunker, demanding an accurate approach to avoid the hazard.
#3 Captain's Bluff
The bold will take dead aim at the Pt. Vicente lighthouse, but the challenge lies in judging the distance and wind conditions
#4 Point Fermin
Your shot will ride a prevailing tailwind down to Point Fermin, making it both a visually striking and strategic hole.
#5 Little Blue
A delicate shot framed by a vast blue backdrop of ocean and sky, this hole requires accuracy with a view that’s hard to beat
#6 Portuguese Bend
The historic name of the land on which your round begins, this hole is framed by the natural landscape and challenges you to make your approach count.
#7 Punchbowl
Favor the left side to catch the slope of the partial punchbowl green, making the approach both a strategic and rewarding shot.
#8 Catalina
Catalina looks reachable with a long iron on a clear day, but focus on the green to make sure your shot is on target.
#9 Whale Road
A gallery of mighty grays may add to the drama of the finishing hole, with the ocean breeze and scenic backdrop creating a memorable finish.
