Meet our falconer and get up close and personal with his majestic birds of prey. Since 2009 we have used the ancient art of falconry to provide a natural bird abatement program, ensuring that the resort is free from droppings and bacteria from seagulls, pigeons and crows who would otherwise overrun the area. Includes personal introduction to the birds, and a guided tour of the property where Joe is working.

Experience the unique sport of archery on an ocean side range with sweeping views of Catalina Island. Our skilled archery instructors will provide you with bow and arrow instruction, followed by shooting practice and games. Archery dates back over 5,000 years and was the preferred hunting method used by the Tongva people, who used to inhabit the Palos Verdes Peninsula. You are sure to find this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity a fun and educational experience. Archery is a perfect family activity, and our zombies make a special appearance by request!

Archery Tag is a unique sport that combines elements of dodgeball and paintball with the timeless skills of archery. Participants team up to compete against each other on the sand of the scenic Terranea Cove. No prior archery skills are necessary. Players take aim at each other with non-lethal arrows to score points or eliminate opposing team members.

Terranea Resort is committed to an educational campaign focused on the environment. Our guided hike stops at a variety of spectacular viewing points including the Point Vicente Lighthouse and the Terranea Sea Salt Conservatory. As you walk along our coastal trails, our naturalist will point out local flora and fauna. You may spot a California Gnat Catcher, an El Segundo Blue Butterfly, or an Allen's Hummingbird, all native to Southern California. A Private Guided Coastal Hike is also available. Meet Outside of Pointe Discovery

Experience the beauty of Palos Verdes at its finest during a trail ride with Ocean View Riding. Our trail rides are available for ages 12 and up. Please note that our trail route does include hills and heights.

Enjoy a leisurely game of tennis or pickleball at the Peninsula Racquet Club. Equipment rentals can be provided for $10 per person paid at Club.
