JANUARY
Throughout the month of January, Terranea Resort is proud to highlight our partnership with local nonprofit Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services, which provides free mental health, substance use disorder and suicide prevention services. Dedicated to serving communities where stigma or poverty limits access, Didi Hirsch's Suicide Prevention Center is the nation’s first and an international leader in training, research and crisis services.
FEBRUARY
Throughout the month of February, Terranea Resort is proud to highlight our partnership with local nonprofit St. Vincent Meals on Wheels, who prepares and delivers nutritious meals to homebound seniors and other vulnerable residents throughout Los Angeles, regardless of age, illness, disability, race, religion or ability to pay.
MARCH
Throughout the month of March, Terranea Resort is proud to highlight our partnership with local nonprofit Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). The annual Make March Matter campaign rallies the community in support of the hospital and brings focus to the healthcare needs of children.
APRIL
In celebration of Earth Month in April, Terranea Resort is proud to highlight our partnership with Palos Verdes Land Conservancy, who are dedicated to preserving our local, natural habitat, as well as providing educational and informative programs for both visitors and the community to enjoy.
MAY
Throughout the month of May, Terranea Resort is proud to highlight our partnership with local nonprofit Rainbow Services Foundation, which provides shelter and support to local community members impacted by domestic violence, and offering empowerment, safety, and stability to create a meaningful and comfortable future for themselves and their families.
JUNE
In honor of World Ocean’s Day in June, Terranea Resort is proud to highlight our long-standing partnership with Marine Mammal Care Center. Based locally in San Pedro, Marine Mammal Care Center provides medical care and rehabilitation to injured or sick seals and sea lions throughout Los Angeles County, and releases them back into their natural habitat – often along Terranea’s coastline!
In celebration of Pride Month in June, Terranea Resort is proud to highlight our partnership with the South Bay LGBTQ Center. This locally-based nonprofit promotes spaces where all LGBTQ+/Queer people can thrive though community building, learning opportunities and cultural awareness. The Center’s goal is to foster greater inclusion as well as understanding of our LGBTQ+/Queer and other intersecting communities within the South Bay and beyond.
JULY
Throughout the month of July, Terranea Resort is proud to highlight our partnership with Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. Since 1973, LA Regional Food Bank has nourished the local community with compassion and over one billion meals. With your generous donation, this wonderful organization seeks to reach their goal to provide 40 million meals annually.
AUGUST
Throughout the month of August, Terranea Resort is proud to highlight our partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles. This valued nonprofit is dedicated to transforming the lives of members of our local community through affordable housing, building not just homes, but futures.
SEPTEMBER
In celebration of back to school, throughout the month of September, Terranea Resort is proud to highlight our partnership with Peninsula Education Foundation, whose commitment to the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District provides necessary grant funds and support to enhance educational excellence of local students.
In celebration of Coastal Cleanup Month, Terranea Resort is proud to highlight our partnership with Heal the Bay, an environmental nonprofit dedicated to making the coastal waters and watersheds in Greater Los Angeles safe, healthy, and clean. They use science, education, community action, and advocacy to fulfill their mission.
OCTOBER
In celebration of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, Terranea Resort is proud to highlight our partnership with Cancer Support Community Redondo Beach, who offer cancer patients, survivors, and their families, empowerment and strength through educational resources, outreach programs, and the support of the local community.
NOVEMBER
Throughout the month of November, Terranea Resort is proud to highlight our partnership with the Midnight Mission in Los Angeles. Founded in 1914, the Midnight Mission provides assistance to homeless individuals, offering vital support and programs that provide a path to self-sufficiency and a better quality of life.
DECEMBER
Throughout the month of December, Terranea Resort is proud to highlight our partnership with Toys for Tots. This holiday season, join us in supporting their efforts to provide the wonder of Christmas to all children.
