Food Trend: Homemade Sodas!

A big trend going on right now in many restaurants are Homemade Sodas! There is just something about ordering a unique bubbly drink. Creative sodas made with fresh ingredients is definitely worth trying! What is great about this trend is how it can be carried over at home.  Combinations of Hibiscus Lime or Tamarind Peach give typical sodas a run for its money.  As it turns out "soda" is really a fancy term for flavored simple syrup with seltzer mixed in. So why not treat your taste buds to a carbonated drink that has a delicious surprise! Kids of all ages will enjoy. The combinations are endless! bashi enjoys getting creative with our homemade sodas.  Our Hibiscus Lime Soda is not only a treat to see with the beautiful edible hibiscus on top. It is in the words of Rachel Ray "Yumo"! Here is how you can make one of our homemade bashi sodas at home:

Hibiscus Lime Soda:                    

1 1/2 ounces Hibiscus syrup

1/2 ounce Pomegranate

Splash of Lime juice

Fill the glass with Soda Water

 *Add hibiscus flower & Lime wedge
