THE ART OF TERRANEA WALKING TOUR

This one hour walking tour showcases art by the Portuguese Bend Artist Colony whose passions for “en plein air,” a French expression for “in the open air” captures the beauty of the Peninsula. Their enthusiasm for the natural open spaces, along with childhood memories of the Palos Verdes Peninsula, have motivated the Colony to capture the beauty of the remaining undeveloped land through their art as a record for future generations.

LIVING LANDSCAPES OF TERRANEA

This one hour hike will explore the wonderful lush history of plants around the resort and why they were chosen for the property. The tour supplies knowledge about the plants and conveys their importance to the native animals - including the endangered Palos Verdes Blue Butterfly and the California Gnatcatcher.
