The health and wellbeing of our guests and associates is paramount at Terranea Resort. Due to government mandates forcing closure of much of the resort, out of an abundance of caution, and as part of our continued effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), the resort and its amenities will be temporarily closing beginning March 19.
Our team is dedicated to upholding and ensuring a safe and healthy environment. We are actively monitoring COVID-19 updates from the World Health Organization and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) and will evolve our practices in accordance to the guidance provided by government officials and public health professionals. We will plan to resume our offerings as soon as it is safe to do so.
At this time, the resort continues to make reservations for overnight stays that begin on May 11. Our reservations team will be in contact with guests with existing reservations through May 10, 2020. For guests that have booked their stay through an online travel agent or another third-party booking site, please contact them directly to inquire about refunds and changes.
Additionally, the City of Rancho Palos Verdes announced the closure of the Palos Verdes Nature Preserve, all City parks, beaches, community centers, amenities and trails until further notice, including the public trails surrounding Terranea. For more information, visit RPVCA.gov.
For timely travel updates and safety guidelines, we are continuing to share relevant industry information:
We will continue to support our associates, guests, and community members in every way that we can during this period of closure.
