Terranea Resort Announces Director of Golf, Golf Pro
RANCHO PALOS VERDES, CA. (March 5, 2024) - Expanding its team of golf professionals, Terranea Resort - a luxury, 582-room oceanfront resort on the Palos Verdes Peninsula - has named Marc Marini its new director of golf and Andrew Price as head golf professional and group sales coordinator.
According to Ralph Grippo, president of Terranea Resort, in his new position as director of golf, Marini will oversee all golf operations and programs, including staff supervision and budgeting for The Links at Terranea, the resort's oceanfront nine-hole, par-3 golf course totaling 1,239 yards.

"Both have extensive experience within the golfing community and will be invaluable as we focus on raising our golf programs' standards of excellence to even higher levels, while positioning The Links at Terranea as one of Southern California's premier short courses."
A member of the Professional Golfers Association (PGA) of America since 2006, Marini is a PGA Class A professional with more than 20 years of experience in the golf industry and worked at Huntington Beach's SeaCliff Country Club for 18 years, serving as its director of golf - managing all golf operations and staff for this 600-member club - and as golf professional/ tournament director, overseeing over 80 events each year and directing junior golf programs.
Price has expertise in all facets of golf course operations. In addition to assisting with the management of all golf operations and sales, Price is a skilled instructor who provides both individual and group lessons. He was previously a golf instructor at The Golf Lab Academy in Santa Ana, Calif., and was head golf professional at the Huntington Club in Huntington Beach. Additionally, he worked at SeaCliff Country Club for 12 years as director of instruction and assistant golf professional and was a teaching professional at the NIKE Golf Learning Center.
Also a licensed mortgage loan officer, Marini studied at The Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. where he majored and minored in psychology and philosophy respectively. Price holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Pennsylvania State University, where he played on the varsity golf team.
