Terranea Thanksgiving Champagne Dinner in the Palos Verdes Ballroom

Presented by Executive Chef Andrew Vaughan and his culinary team, this elegant Thanksgiving champagne buffet is a superb holiday dining experience - one for families and friends to treasure and be thankful for years to come. Set in the picturesque Mediterranean-style ballroom, the carefully curated gourmet fare pleases discriminating guests of all ages. A unique feature is the Fresh Apple Cider Pressing station. Pastries and aromatic housemade breads may be enjoyed with favorites from the Fresh Cut Fruit Stand. A fabulous Farm Lettuces Salad with pumpkin spiced golden balsamic vinaigrette and a Butternut Squash Salad with dried cranberries and spiced pumpkin seeds are offered at the Salad Bar. The lovely Chilled Seafood with its fantastic ice sculpture features crab claws, shrimp, oysters, assorted sushi, California and spicy tuna rolls. The Cheese and Cured Meats Platter has a selection of California cheeses, cured meats, house crafted jams, cornichons, pickled vegetables and olives. Whole Turkey ginger and spice and giblet gravy is served at the Carving Station, and the Hot Display pleases with Prime Rib Roasted Ham with honey glaze; Arctic Char with almonds, capers and burnt butter, Quinoa Stuffed Mushrooms; Chestnut Stuffing; Roasted Root Vegetables; Sweet Potato Puree; Spiced Cranberry Sauce; and Pumpkin Bisque. The Desserts array is dazzling - highlighted by Caramelized Apple Crepes, Spiced Milk Shakes, Apple Cranberry Muffins, Warm Cinnamon Rolls topped with pumpkin spice, Vegan Chef's Choice Croissant, Donuts Assortment, Cappuccino Eclairs, Apple, Pumpkin and Pecan Pies and even more tantalizing sweets.

Terranea's ocean bluff Four-Star Forbes Travel Guide restaurant exudes the warmth and classic elegance of Southern California set against a panoramic ocean backdrop. Its award-winning Chef de Cuisine Fabio Ugoletti and his team create an inventive gourmet twist on traditional Thanksgiving dishes starting with first course choices of Pan-Fried Scallop with beluga lentils and kabocha squash "mostarda," Risotto with porcini and winter black truffle, Butternut Squash Soup with sunchoke chips and "amaretti" cookies or Little Gem Lettuce with persimmon, radish, dried cranberries, walnut and green goddess dressing. Course Two tempts with a choice of Turkey roasted breast, confit thigh, cornbread stuffing, mashed sweet potato, cranberry sauce and gravy; Braised Short Ribs accompanied by creamy polenta, broccolini and spiced jus; Roasted Romanesco with almond aioli and pomegranate glace; or Pan Seared Halibut served with braised cabbage, trumpet mushrooms and lemon caper sauce. Guests opt for one side of either Brussels Sprouts with kale and sweet spicy pepper, Mashed Potato with cultured butter and roasted garlic or Glazed Carrots with parsnip, toasted almond and chives. Course Three is for the table and includes delicious Chocolate Ganache Tart, pomegranate, pistachio gelato; Pumpkin Cremeux, sticky toffee pudding, orange ginger gel, red currants; and Apple and Hazelnut Macaroon, hazelnut cookie, caramel apple gelee and salted caramel sauce. catalina kitchen presents a New American Thanksgiving buffet in the restaurant's beautiful and modern coastal setting with beautiful Pacific views. This holiday feast features an expansive Raw Bar with Oysters, Marinated Mussels, Jonah Crab Claws, Ahi Poke, Salmon Poke, Lobster Roll, Scallop au Gratin, Whole Roasted Salmon Filet and Warm Snow Crab. From The Oven, fun food especially for the younger set includes BBQ Flatbread, Brussels Sprout Carbonara Pizza and Pepperoni, Sausage and Fennel Pizza. Some of the Holiday Offerings are Roasted Vegetable Platter, Baked Macaroni and Cheese, Freshly Sliced Fruit, Cornbread Crumble Stuffing, Candied Yams and Poached Pear, Arugula and Blue Cheese Salad. The Carving Station invites guests to feast on Molasses Glazed Turkey Breast and Smoked Turkey Thighs, Herb Crusted Prime Rib, Roasted Leg of Lamb, Pineapple Spiral Ham and more. Terranea's bashi eatery offers a contemporary blend of Asian inspired cuisine as well as special inventive cocktails. For Thanksgiving, specials include Turkey Shoyu Ramen, which is composed of turkey breast, soft poached egg, shiitake mushrooms, scallions and nori. There is also Chocolate Pumpkin Cremeux, and for special sipping - Hey There, Pumpkin! concocted with Ketel One Vodka, espresso, pumpkin spice syrup and Kahlua and What A Pear! composed of gin, Asian pear and amaretto. With far-reaching views of the Pacific Ocean in a very inviting atmosphere, Terranea's Lobby Bar will offer specials of Crispy Fried Turkey Thigh with cabbage slaw tossed with cranberry marmalade and served between grilled rye bread with a side of turkey gravy, Apple Bourbon Bundt Cake and a special Pumpkin Delight Cocktail made with Woodford Reserve, Montenegro, pumpkin spice syrup and lemon juice. Casual dining Nelson's is perched directly above the breathtaking ocean coves.
