RANCHO PALOS VERDES, CA (March 26, 2023) - With longer daylight hours on the horizon, The Links at Terranea introduces new golf experiences for Terranea Resort guests, locals and members who appreciate sweeping ocean vistas throughout their game. From lessons with experts to a walking-only nine-hole, par three course to a full-swing golf studio and state-of-the-art Foresight Sports golf simulator, The Links offers something for everyone. And, on March 26 golfers can join the FlowCode Junior Academy Golf School all-day program led by Dr. Rick Sessinghaus, coach to PGA player Collin Morikawa. Sessinghaus, "master of the mental game" - helps golfers learn how to reach new levels of performance.

One of the state's first walking-only shorter courses, The Links at Terranea, recognizes the benefits of short golf. Opened in 2009 on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, the masterfully designed nine-hole, par three course is one of few short courses in California where golfers can play amidst a Pacific backdrop.

Couples on the Course

For experienced golfers and newbies, this all-levels offering is an enjoyable way for two to spend a golf-packed hour filled with professional instruction, a scenic oceanfront round at The Links, club rentals, golf balls and beverages.

Friday Afternoon Drive at The Links

Every Friday from 2 to 4 p.m.

To start the weekend off at award-winning The Links, guests are invited to warm up for the weekend and practice their form as they aim for the longest drive at the course's golf simulator. Top contenders are awarded monthly. This session comes with a 15% savings on select Golf House apparel.

Family Golf FUNdamentals

FUNdamentals is "golf 101" along the Pacific - designed for novice golf families or couples interested in learning more about the game and its challenges. It's a 90-minute program focusing on the basics of golf, complete with challenges and games that help participants better their performance.

Beginner level for two to five players is $150 per adult; $110 per child. Bookings can be made by calling the Golf House at 310.265.2752.

Point and Shoot Putting Clinic

Every Saturday at 1 p.m.

Putting is a most important skill in the game of golf. This 60-minute putting clinic with instruction from a PGA professional is designed for adults (16+) to assist them in accurately reading greens and enhancing distance control.

Intermediate to advanced level is $75 per player. Six players maximum for each clinic. Bookings can be made by calling the Golf House at 310.265.2752.

The Golf Lounge

For an elevated golf experience, a visit to The Golf Lounge - The Links' premium golf studio and simulator - is a golf lover's must. It allows golfers to play virtually on some of the most famous courses or to try a "closest" to the pin challenge. This is a special way for groups to gather, celebrate and, perhaps, enjoy a round of drinks from the Golf House as they relax oceanfront.

Oceanfront Mini-Golf

Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This six-hole routing on The Links putting course is an ideal way to challenge the putting prowess of players at all skill levels.

FlowCode Junior Academy Golf School at The Links

Sunday, March 26, from 12 to 7 p.m.

Renowned golf expert Dr. Rick Sessinghaus, director of FlowCode Golf Academy, along with PGA youth training specialist Josh Alpert offers this very special mental game skills program teaching participants to "go from fear to flow." The day includes coaching focusing on the mindset principles that make or break performance, lunch, green fees and prizes.
