(September 14, 2023) - Southern California's oceanfront luxury Terranea Resort blushes in support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month with its annual "Terranea Turns Pink" experiences during October. Proceeds from the various activities will benefit Play for P.I.N.K. and Cancer Support Community South Bay.

The resort's welcoming entrance fountain will be lit up in pink and The Links at Terranea will fly a pink flag at each hole to show support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Ninth Annual Birdies for Breast Cancer at The Links

Sunday, October 1, between 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

At The Links at Terranea, City of Hope South Bay and Providence Little Company will sponsor a scenic golf round, delicious food and drinks, silent auction and on-course contests - with proceeds benefiting Cancer Support Community South Bay's valued work offering assistance and guidance to cancer patients and their families.

Drink Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness

Throughout October in the Lobby and all dining venues

A signature "Florecita" pink cocktail will be available in the resort's Lobby Bar and all resort dining venues throughout October. Created by resort mixologists, the rose-tinted cocktail is made with Tanteo Blanco Tequila, Rishi Lavender Mint Tea, cranberry, peach, lemon and lavender bitters - served in a large, rounded goblet with ice and garnished with delicate, beautifully colored edible flowers floating atop. For each cocktail purchased, Terranea will donate $1 to support breast cancer.

Archery Experiences Benefit Breast Cancer Awareness

Throughout October

For every archery activity booked in October, Terranea will donate $5 to breast cancer support and research. Advanced reservations are required. The resort's partners at Palos Verdes Archery Lessons will generously match the activity donation.

Dueling Pianos and Silent Auction

Saturday, October 28, at 7 p.m.

Guests are treated to a special edition of Dueling Pianos in the Lobby Bar -signature cocktails and gourmet creations available all evening. In support of Cancer Support Community South Bay and Play for P.I.N.K., special silent auction items will be donated.

Full Moon Yoga

Saturday, October 28, at 6 p.m.

In celebration of the bright full moon, yoga enthusiasts of all levels are invited to practice yoga under the brisk autumn night sky. Participants should bring their own yoga mats.
