Terranea Resort Announces Key Executive Hire
VALERIE IWASAKI NAMED SENIOR LEISURE ACCOUNT DIRECTOR
(October 1, 2019) — Terranea Resort announces the hire of hospitality industry veteran Valerie Iwasaki as Senior Leisure Account Director.
Iwasaki has vast experience working within the luxury hospitality sector, as seen through her three-year tenure as Account Director Leisure for The St. Regis Princeville Resort on the island of Kauai in Hawaii, following a remarkably successful 16-year career with The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua, and The Ritz-Carlton, Marina del Rey. During this time, Iwasaki created long-lasting relationships with key travel networks such as Virtuoso, Signature Travel Network, Fine Hotels & Resorts, and more, which will be instrumental as she represents Terranea to the Northeast region and Los Angeles area luxury partners.

Iwasaki and her husband, Eric, have lived in the Rolling Hills Estates neighborhood on the northern side of the Palos Verdes Peninsula for over a decade. She speaks fluent French, and in her spare time, enjoys cooking and practicing yoga.
