Cupid's Couples Archery

Available Saturday, February 11, to Tuesday, February 14

For adventure together, couples meet their Terranea expert at The Beach Cove to enjoy a themed, custom-tailored archery session that also includes a specialty box of house-made chocolate truffles made from sea beans.

Kids Club Valentine's Day Party

Saturday, February 11

Terranea Kids Club is always packed with fun for kids four to 12 years old. This two- or three-hour Valentine's Party is filled with a variety of games and themed crafts including friendship necklaces, heart crowns and flower handprints. There are three themed party sessions during the day and evening. Fun food will be provided.

Valentine's Day Couples Yoga

This special Couples Yoga session is a peaceful way to celebrate love - and a great way to relax and reconnect - taking place in the resort's Movement Studio. Other pampering Spa treatments to be enjoyed during February include Sea Mineral Balance Scrub, Gentleman's Facial, Diamond Luminous Facial and Revitalizing Marine Massage.

Sunset Hike and Stargazing

Saturday, February 18, from 5 to 8:30 p.m.

A memorable Terranea activity for couples is to join the resort's activity leaders for a sunset hike exploring the unique oceanfront natural landscape while admiring the beauty and colors of the vibrant, showstopping setting sun. Then night lovers explore the sky through high-powered telescopes as they cozy up near firepits and relax.

New "Couples on Course" Clinic at The Links

Set on the picturesque seaside the Palos Verdes Peninsula, multi award-winning The Links at Terranea golf facility is offering its recently launched "Couples on Course" Clinic, which includes one-hour of professional instruction, a scenic oceanfront round at The Links for two, club rentals, balls and beverages.

Romantic Dining

Terranea Resort is proudly supporting St. Vincent Meals on Wheels' #FoodLove campaign during February by donating a portion of the proceeds from signature bites and menu selections featured at Nelson's, bashi, Lobby Bar, catalina kitchen and The Spa Cafe. The mission of the organization is to bring nourishment to those in need.

The resort's signature restaurant, mar'sel presents a special Valentine's menu on Tuesday, February 14, along with its customary menu. Romantics will savor a prix fixe, four-course, especially elegant dinner at signature restaurant mar'sel on Valentine's Day. Overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the chef's inventive twist on California cuisine will offer Course One Scallop Carpaccio with passion fruit, sea bream and chives. Course Two is Risotto Champagne and Langoustine plated with pomegranate and rose petals. The choices for Course Three are Iceford Salmon with wakame ginger broth and poached oyster or Seared Duck Breast accompanied by orange scented endive, confit thigh and truffled polenta. The sweet Course Four satisfies the palate with Deconstructed White Chocolate Raspberry Gelato and a Passion Compote.

Nelson's oceanfront dining experience on the holiday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. will include specialty menu dishes such as Savory Shrimp Scampi and refreshing new cocktails. bashi's romantic evening features specials including Tempura Lobster Tail, and perfect-for-a-group Valentine's celebrations are its Social Grilling Tables - serving from 5 to 9 p.m. From 3 to 11 p.m., the Lobby Bar will offer specialty Truffle Couscous and more, and couples will want to enjoy after dinner drinks, sweet treats and live entertainment later in the evening.
