Skating by the Sea
Terranea Resort invites guests to enjoy the ultimate holiday experience with Skating by the Sea, in partnership with the City of Rancho Palos Verdes. Complimentary transportation to the nearby RPV Civic Center will be available Friday - Sunday throughout December, with additional themed skate nights and weekday dates available. Advance reservations are required.
Hours:
December 3 - Friday 5-8pm
December 4-19 - Friday-Sunday 1-8pm
December 27-31 - Monday-Friday 1-8pm
Pricing:
$10 per person, per session (30-minute skate sessions)
Skates provided ages 5 and up
Themed Skate Nights:
- December 3 - *Opening Night* - The night will begin with a tree lighting ceremony filled with holiday music, tasty food, crafts, and entertainment!
- December 12 - Frozen from 2-5pm
- December 17 - Teen Skate from 6-8pm
- December 18 - 80s
- December 27 - Ugly Sweater
- December 31 - Disco Fever
Booking:
Reservations are strongly recommended and can be made at www.rpvca.gov/skate at least 12 hours in advance.
Please Note: Customers will need to create an account in order to sign up. Drop-ins will be accepted, but availability may be limited. The rink will be closed in the event of rain.
Transportation from Resort:
Complimentary guest van service will depart Terranea on the hour and depart Civic Center on the half-hour for return.
