The Portuguese Bend hike takes guests almost 1,000 feet above Terranea offering a majestic view of the colony of Portuguese Bend, Catalina Island and points beyond. Guests can take in the local flavor on two wheels by renting a Resort bike or trot along the scenic trails of the preserve on horseback.
Taking full advantage of the ocean setting, the Resort offers guests a chance to kayak this famous stretch of Pacific coastline, once the paddling grounds of the Pimu natives and the setting for the renowned oceanic park, Marineland of the Pacific.
