Discovery Trails
Surrounding Terranea, Discovery Trail provides guests the opportunity to learn about all the indigenous plants and wildlife that make the Resort's habitat so very unique through naturalist-guided tours and interpretive signage located along the Trail. Home to a variety of bird species including the California Gnatcatcher, Hooded Oriole, Cactus Wren, California Brown Pelican and the Black-vented Shearwater, and the endangered El Segundo Blue Butterfly, the Trail is a haven for bird watchers and nature enthusiasts. The Cove
The Cove at Terranea, a beach enclave just steps away from the Resort, is both a marine and geological masterpiece. Carved by nature, the Cove is an ideal place for guests to watch for dolphins at play, sculpt a sand castle or simply soak in the sun.
