Music on the Meadows will take place from noon to 5pm on Sunday, May 31. General Admission tickets are available for $25; VIP tickets are available for $75 and include a special meet & greet with the Old 97’s and a private reception with complimentary cocktails and hors d’ oeuvres from noon to 2pm. More event information and a link to purchase tickets can be found here. In addition, concert guests may choose from a variety of Farm-to-Terranea signature cuisine, a selection of wines and craft beers. Farm-to-Terranea offerings include a Kebab Station with choice of chicken, beef and vegetables complemented by hummus, greens, tomato, pickled chiles and shawarma sauce in warm pita bread; Bratwurst, Hot Dogs and Grilled Tofu with all the classic condiments as well as soy BBQ sauce, Asian Slaw, Pickled Vegetables, chips and optional jalapeno baguette; Vegetarian Wraps with grilled seasonal vegetables, avocado and cilantro aioli; Sweet treats, such as San Pedro sea salt caramel, an assortment of ice cream bars, cookies and fruit popsicles. A selection of wines, hand-crafted Ketel One cocktails and craft beers will also be available, including Smog City, Fat Tire and Sierra Nevada. The Old 97's performance at Terranea is the only Los Angeles performance for fans to experience this summer. The group emerged from Dallas twenty years ago at the forefront of a musical movement blending rootsy, country-influenced songwriting with punk rock energy. Current album 'Most Messed Up' follows their recent two-volume set, 'The Grand Theatre,' which found the band as "lifers writing for keeps," according to Rolling Stone, and their 2013 EP featuring Waylon Jennings, 'Old 97's & Waylon Jennings.' The Dustbowl Revival is a Venice, California-based collective that merges old school bluegrass, gospel, pre-war blues and the hot swing of New Orleans to form a spicy roots cocktail. Known for their roaring live sets, Dustbowl bravely brings together many styles of traditional American music. Some call it string band-brass band mash up. Imagine Old Crow Medicine Show teaming up with Louis Armstrong’s Hot Fives and Sevens, or Bob Dylan and The Band jamming with Benny Goodman and his orchestra in 1938. It’s infectious, joyous music – a youthful take on time-worn American traditions. Singer, songwriter and actor Tyler Hilton’s most recent album, “Indian Summer,” unleashes a new side of the artist combining multiple genres. Tyler is on the scene as an independent artist, touring the U.S., Canada and Europe, as well as working on new film and TV projects. He is best known for his role as Chris Keller on the CW hit-show "One Tree Hill", and for playing Elvis Presley in the Johnny Cash biopic, "Walk The Line." In both notable roles, he plays a musician, indicative of his real-life musical talent. With an infusion of piano, jazz melodies, soulful lyrics, and a splash of pop, Lindsey Harper embodies what it means to be soulful. With her debut album, “Living” she has toured all over the country at notable venues and most recently won the coveted first place prize for the 2014 “Unsigned Only Competition.” Her music has been featured in many Film and TV projects including VH1, MTV, CBS, TV Land, the hit indie film "Loving Annabelle." Her vocals were featured singing the theme song on the smash ABC Family show “Huge.” Most recently, Lindsey has toured the world singing with Selena Gomez and made numerous TV appearances including People's Choice Awards, Teen Choice Awards, and Dancing with the Stars, Ellen, Jimmy Fallon, Jay Leno, and Good Morning America. Throughout the month of May, Terranea Resort, A Destination Hotel, joined the fight against pancreatic cancer to raise awareness, funds and participate as a Silver Sponsor for Purple Stride Los Angeles event at Exposition Park on May 2. Terranea associates and their families joined together to support the mission of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network to advance research, support patients and create hope for the pancreatic cancer community. Funds raised help provide personalized support for patients and to support research grants and advocacy efforts to increase federal pancreatic cancer research funding. Pancreatic cancer is currently the fourth leading cause of cancer-related death in the United States and is anticipated to become the second leading cause by 2020. This year, more than 48,900 Americans will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and nearly 40,000 will die. There are no early detection tools and few effective treatment options. The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network is working to change the future of this disease. Terranea has remained dedicated to supporting this cause through both Network sponsored events and events held on-property. Last year, the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network was included as a partner charity in the Chef’s Table Dinner Series. Each dinner in the bi-monthly series features a menu prepared by Terranea's culinary team, led by Executive Chef Bernard Ibarra, paired with an exquisite selection of wines personally selected by the event’s presenting vintner, with a portion of the proceeds from benefiting a different non-profit partner organization.
