Terranea Resort Announces New Promotions

Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif. (June 29, 2016) Terranea Resort, A Destination Hotel, is pleased to announce two new appointments: Mitch Mehr as Vice President of Food and Beverage Operations and Strategic Planning, and Roye Mbarah as Senior Director of Facilities and Strategic Long Term Capital Planning. As an eight-year veteran with Destination Hotels, Mitch Mehr will now serve as Vice President of Food and Beverage Operations and Strategic Planning for Terranea Resort. Mehr previously led the Purchasing Department team as Director of Purchasing and Food and Beverage Projects at Terranea, and before his time at the property, held positions at Destination Hotels home office, Kimpton Hotel Group and with China Grille Management.    "Throughout his career, Mehr has always focused on food and beverage experiences, with an emphasis on providing high-quality, approachable cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere,” said Terri Haack, President of Terranea Resort. "Mehr’s goal is to enhance the dining experience, raising the quality of both culinary and service to new heights." Roye Mbarah has been promoted to Senior Director of Facilities and Strategic Long Term Capital Planning at Terranea, where he will continue to lead the Engineering function and oversee responsibility for all Capital Projects.
