Terranea Resort’s Easter Sunday Celebration Brings Family Fun and Luxurious Dining to Los Angeles

Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif. (April 1, 2014) –– On Sunday, April 20, Terranea Resort, by Destination Hotels & Resorts, will hold its annual Easter celebration complete with family-friendly activities as well as several luxurious brunch options.

The Easter Ballroom Brunch at Terranea Resort will offer a banquet-style Easter dining experience.  Guests in the Palos Verdes Ballroom will have an array of stations to choose from including an omelet and egg station, a seafood display, specialty Cinnamon Roll French Toast, a create-your-own mac and cheese stations, an Asian-inspired kitchen, a sauté kitchen, a dessert display and more. The Easter Ballroom Brunch will also offer a buffet just for kids 5 – 10 years old, featuring children’s favorites like rigatoni pasta, chicken fingers, and gelato for dessert.  Terranea Resort’s Easter Ballroom Brunch offers reservations at 9:30, 10 and 10:30 a.m., and 1, 1:30, and 2 p.m., and is available for $90 for adults, including gratuity and champagne, and $40 for children.

mar’sel, Terranea Resort’s signature dining destination, will be offering a Dom Perignon Easter Brunch complete with a four course family-style meal highlighted by choices of charcuterie, a smoked fish board, blueberry and ricotta pancakes, brioche French toast, a farmer’s market scramble and more. Adults will enjoy two glasses of Dom Perignon champagne, while children enjoy soft drinks and juices. The Dom Perignon Easter Brunch at mar’sel is offered from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at $105 for adults and $55 for children.

At Catalina Kitchen, diners will satisfy their appetites with a banquet-style Easter Brunch featuring fresh California cuisine including breakfast pastries, bread and cheese & charcuterie displays, a paella station, an antipasti bar, carving stations, a sushi bar, a candy station and more. Catalina Kitchen’s Easter Brunch is offered at $75 for adults, $38 for children. Diners will be offered an option of bottomless mimosas, Bloody Mary’s and sangria for an additional $20. The Catalina Kitchen Easter Brunch is served from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

sea beans, Terranea Resort’s coffee bar and café,  offers two complete Easter To-Go dinner packages for parties of four or eight. sea beans to-go menus  features maple-cured ham with pineapple caramel sauce, corn and garnet yam chowder, roasted rainbow fingerling potatoes, French beans with prosciutto, a choice of pies and more. Side options, as well as to-go desserts, will also be available a la carte. The sea beans Easter dinner package for four is priced at $185, and at $375 for eight.

Each diner purchasing brunch, as well as all resort guests, will have complimentary access to Terranea Resort’s Easter activities. These family-friendly daytime activities are perfect for children and include: an Egg Hunt in the Palos Verdes Meadows featuring an Easter wonderland filled with eggs and prizes for children to take home, a petting zoo with bunnies, baby chicks and sheep, and a Family Activities Station where families will be able to make crafts, Easter cards, and decorate their very own eggs together.
