TERRANEA RESORT NAMES WENDY HAASE AS DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC RELATIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS

Haase to Promote New Oceanfront Luxury Resort Opening June 2009

Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif. - April 14, 2009 - Kathy Van Vechten, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the new Terranea Resort announced today that Wendy Haase has been hired as Director of Public Relations and Communications. Haase will oversee all aspects of branding, advertising, public relations and promotional programs for the resort. The 102-acre luxury resort is situated along the California coastline in Rancho Palos Verdes, just south of Los Angeles. The 582-room property is scheduled to open in June.

For the past 10 years Haase has promoted travel destinations in the Midwest, Northern California and most recently in Southern California. Haase brings more than 16 years of public relations, marketing and special event experience to the resort.

"Wendy's destination and travel marketing experience encompasses the big-picture promotional opportunities the resort has to offer," said Van Vechten. "Her knowledge of the industry along with her enthusiasm will most certainly be an asset to our team."

Haase serves on the Board of Directors for the Public Relations Society of America Travel & Tourism Section and on the Associates Council of the Society of American Travel Writers.
