Situated directly above the Pacific Ocean, Nelson's offers diners a breathtaking view of Catalina Island, stunning coastal vistas and a peek at the coves made famous over 50 years ago by the hit television series, Sea Hunt. The convivial oceanside setting makes Nelson's a natural destination to enjoy approachable yet refined comfort fare with the laid-back atmosphere further accentuated by the outdoor fireplace and the incredible natural beauty of the coastline.

Nelson's is named after Sea Hunt's main character Mike Nelson, played by Lloyd Bridges.
MENU:
Nelson's take on casual pub fare features a seasonally inspired menu with hearty appetizers such as Crabmeat Cocktail with Spicy Guacamole and Crisp Corn Tortilla Chips; or Chipotle Shrimp Tacos, Sour Cream, Avocado, Napa Slaw and Red Chili Mojo. For entrees, guests can enjoy a Pulled Pork Sandwich on a Toasted Onion Roll with Crisp Onions and Napa Slaw; Nelson's Chop Salad with Spit Roasted Turkey, Tomatoes, Cucumber, Black Beans, Chopped Egg and Roasted Corn; and Fish & Chips with Beer Battered Halibut, Malt Vinegar and Remoulade. Save room for sweet dishes such as Chocolate Fondue for Two with Strawberries, Marshmallows, and Pretzels.
WINE & SPIRITS:
Enjoy the delicious selection of micro brewed beers from the frozen tap, as well as refreshing cocktails such as an Acai Mojito or Pomegranate Margarita. House wines round out the options that are sure to make Nelson's a destination of choice for sunset libations.
DECOR:
From the furnishings all made of recycled materials to the centerpiece bar countertop made completely of recycled wine bottles, Nelson's allows diners to enjoy the ocean while preserving it. With smooth concrete floors, wooden tables and chairs reminiscent of driftwood, the decor emits a familiar and relaxing vibe. The lowered bar allows every guest to enjoy the magnificent ocean views while the outdoor patio is dog friendly and features a fire pit and inviting fireplace to keep warm from the cool ocean breezes.
