Debbie Delarosa, MA, BS
Debbie has been a fitness instructor for over 20 years, a Personal Trainer for over 12 years and a Program Developer and Group Fitness Manager for over 10 years. Debbie Fitness management experience includes Clubs in San Diego and in LA including Gold's Gym, Equinox and Total Woman Gym and Day Spa. She is also a Presenter, Online Instructor and Specialist for AFAA.
Debbie has worked with all levels of fitness participants and has developed programs for youth, athletes, pregnant and post partum, mommy and me, seniors and the overweight. She has also organized and implemented Fitness programs for inner city kids in LA. In her spare time, she also coaches her kid’s soccer and volleyball teams and volunteers at local schools as a Physical Activity Provider. An avid runner and volleyball player herself, fitness is not only a career but a passion! Born and raised in NY but has been in California for 18 years. Currently residing in Beautiful Palos Verdes with her husband and two kids.
Marcella retired from the Los Angeles Police Department in May 2006 after a 22 year career. Throughout her career she was a member of the long distance running team traveling both Internationally and Nationally to events representing the department in relay events. She has also competed in the Honolulu Marathon numerous times. Marcella tried out with 1500 possible contestants and was selected as one of the competitors on the original American Gladiators.
In "retirement" she has established herself as a fitness professional, operating her own personal training business and teaching various classes at some of the local beaches and gyms. In 2010 she awarded the Southbay Women of Distinction reader's choice award for Sportswomen of the Year. From early 2008 until 2013 she was featured monthly in the Daily Breeze as a featured trainer in the Healthbeat section. Marcella is also known as Coach Piersol because when she is not working out herself or busy training clients she can be found at Peninsula high school as the head coach of the girls cross country team and assists with the track team during the off season.

Lindsay Gaviglio is a versatile trainer with a background in endurance athletics, weight loss, and functional training. She brings a great energy to The Fitness Center at Terranea Resort with her upbeat and positive attitude to both her classes and clientele at the Resort. With over 6 years of personal training experience and 15 years of experience in the health and wellness industry, Lindsay continues to educate herself with new and coming exercise techniques to apply to her practice.
Lindsay earned a BA from the University of Oregon, as well as an opportunity to run cross country and triathlon for the University of Oregon. Shortly after graduating from UO, the Oregon native pursued a career in Personal Training. Lindsay is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and values continuing her education to help clientele reach their fitness best with new technical and tactical techniques to apply to their fitness programs. Personal Training continues to allow Lindsay to train an array of clientele from recreational fitness enthusiasts to athletes of all ages and levels: triathletes, snowboarders, golfers, water polo players, swimmers, and soccer players. Before training at Terranea Resort, Lindsay contributed much of her time to coaching high school cross county in both Central Oregon and Manhattan Beach, organizing endurance races and golf tournaments, teaching Master's Swim and Triathlon Conditioning Classes, as well as coaching Major League Soccer Camps for the Manhattan Beach Sand & Surf. Lindsay truly values the process of teaching clients and guests about the importance of staying healthy and fit. Lindsay wants to promote and encourage living a balanced and healthy lifestyle. She utilizes her experience, enthusiasm, and dedication to provide a unique approach and style to her personal training, classes, and longevity in leading a healthy lifestyle. Outside of work you can find Lindsay running and exploring the vast trails throughout the South Bay, competing in local triathlons, 5k, 10k, and half marathon distance, riding her road bike or beach cruiser, or in the kitchen discovering new healthy recipes to share with her friends and family.
