Mike Hill has over 8 years of experience in the golf business. Prior to The Links at Terranea, he worked at the SCPGA section office, Mesa Verde Country Club, and Tustin Ranch Golf Club. With over 5,000 lessons taught, Mike draws on his vast experience to help get the most out of your golf game. He believes that The Links at Terranea embodies the spirit of the game. Many times he has seen three generations tee up together on The Links and it reminds him of learning the game with his own dad and grandfather and the excitement that golf gave him. That passion and zeal for golf is something that drew Mike to the golf business and is something he looks forward to carrying on with you and your family. As a golf instructor at The Links, he believes in helping you find or amplify your appetite for the game while keeping it fun. Mike’s focus is to help guests discover their own natural swing as well as working on client’s short game and putting to help them reach their goals.

Dan Marvosh was born and raised in Woodland Hills, California. He was a member of the 2009 Ventura College Golf Team that placed third in the state championship and has been a golf professional since 2010. Dan began his career as an intern at the prestigious Arizona State Professional Golf Management Program. After transferring from Arizona State University, Dan was offered a the full time Assistant Golf Professional position at The Links at Terranea. He quickly made his way to the 1st Assistant Golf Professional position as well as the Group Events Coordinator. In addition to becoming a member of the PGA, in 2013 Dan received his certification in golf fitness from the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) and stays very active in the golf fitness program here at the resort. Dan has taught all levels of golfers including juniors, ladies, pros and amateurs alike.
Golf Operations Manager
Stu Black is a native of Rancho Palos Verdes, California and currently lives in Redondo Beach. Stu was an avid golfer before deciding to make his passion for the game into a career in the golf industry. He is currently a Level 2 PGA Apprentice at The Links. He began his PGA Apprenticeship in 2013 and now manages the golf operation as well as the Membership Program. Stu is also one of our lead instructors with his primary focus being short game. He also loves teaching the mental side of golf and how to approach the game of golf with confidence and simplicity. His goal is to make others fall in love with the game of golf the same way his grandfather did for him.
Junior Golf and Events Coordinator
Robert Krasemann grew up in Sycamore, Illinois where his love for golf began. At the age of 12, his family moved to a house that backed up to a local 18 hole course. After a summer of junior golf camps and playing with friends, he decided to join his high school golf team where he earned numerous awards for low scores before he made his way to the University of South Carolina for college. Robert has five years of course experience at Sycamore Golf Course in Illinois and taught locally as a lead instructor with Total Golf Adventures (TGA) in Southern California in 2009 and 2010. He is PGA Level 2 certified and has been a member of the Terranea Golf staff since 2011. Robert currently works as the lead for the Terranea Junior Golf Academy as well as the Ladies Beginning Group Golf Instruction.
Junior Golf and Events Coordinator
Bobby Barrett grew up in Londonderry, New Hampshire. He participated in three years of varsity golf in high school and made two state championship appearances. Bobby has over 5 years of experience in the golf industry, and has worked in many different areas of the golf operation before joining Terranea. As the 2nd Assistant Golf Professional Bobby is the Ladies Golf Coordinator as well as one of the Jr Golf and Events Coordinators for The Links. Bobby’s passion for golf started at a very young age and he carries that same passion into each and every golf class, lesson, and event. Bobby is currently a PGA Level 1 certified apprentice.

Keith followed his love for golf and decided to make it his second career. His outstanding customer service skills earned him an invitation to bring that same caring spirit and passion into a teaching career as an Asst. Instructor for the Junior Golf Academy at Dominguez Hills Golf Course and The Long Beach Golf and Learning Center. Here, at the Links at Terranea, he continues to share that spirit and passion as a Beginning Level Instructor and Assistant Instructor for Junior Academy. Keith also assists in managing the golf operations to ensure the highest quality of service for every guest experience.
Buyer Golf and Group Retail
Sara Heck grew up in Arizona and moved to California in 2008 where she attended California State University Long Beach. She graduated in 2011 with a BA in both Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising. After spending a few years in the design industry working for different junior apparel companies she made the switch to buying and merchandising. In early 2014 Sara accepted a full time position merchandising and assistant buying for Terranea’s golf shop at The Links. She had previously worked at Terranea on and off since college and was thrilled to become a full time member of the Terranea family.
