TripAdvisor revealed the winners of their 2013 Certificate of Excellence...

The Links at Terranea offers golf players a stunning 9-hole par 3 Southern California oceanfront golf course, with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean. On clear days, golf enthusiasts can view Catalina Island while walking the course. The Links challenging 9-hole par 3 course is a collection of 9 championship-caliber par-3 holes, masterfully routed and integrated with one another and the beautiful natural surroundings. Unobstructed sightlines, artful bunkering, and a variety of classic strategic elements combine to provide the Los Angeles coastal golf course with the "wow" factor visitors expect.

Terranea Resort is inviting guests to go green during the resort’s annual Earth Week, April 15-22. The eco-friendly, oceanfront resort is offering a variety of green programming including a Pelican release, ocean clean up by kayak and denim drive for guests and local residents alike to take part and learn more about how they can support environmental conservation. Wedding planner, Hallie Slade of La Boheme Events described this Terranea wedding as “Bohemian Gypsy”.  We agree and call it magical! Matt and Lindsay both grew up right here in Terranea’s backyard, Palos Verdes, California.  Back in high school, the adorable couple once shared a secret kiss before parting ways. Years later, Matt ran into Lindsay on a train in Paris. From that moment, Matt never stopped thinking about Lindsay.  After their serendipitous meeting in Paris, Lindsay and Matt rekindled their romance and soon enough they were engaged! The couple knew from the beginning that their wedding would take place in front of all their family and friends overlooking the scenic coastline they both loved so much and planned their 200+ person wedding at Terranea Resort in only 6 months. Spring is here and our local Southern California farmer’s markets are filled with wonderful, fresh produce!

mar’sel is currently featuring a starter of Fresh Gioa Burrata Cheese served with Fresh English Peas and their Tendrils with Parmesan Cheese and Grilled Focaccia Bread. This makes for a wonderful and delicious springtime dish, a promise of the even warmer months that are just around the corner.

As of the first of this year, mar’sel in Los Angeles is now open 7 nights a week and starting Saturday, March 30 will be open for new Brunch service on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am-2:30pm. Please call 310-265-2701 for reservations.

Brunch is coming to mar'sel!! Just in time for the spring season, Chef Rebecca Merhej has announced a new weekend brunch service at mar’sel set to begin this Easter weekend. Keeping with the restaurant’s values, Merhej has created a brunch menu inspired by seasonal and handcrafted ingredients including house made breads, pastries, meats, and vegetables fresh from the garden.
