Meeting Venues
Terranea Resort has state-of-the-art event space with very generous foyers, most of which have large windows with sweeping views of the blue Pacific. Many of the ground level meeting spaces are complimented by exterior pre-function loggia, terraces and lawns, encouraging attendees to interact while enjoying Terranea's unique natural setting. All of the spaces associated with the smaller event venues were designed for maximum flexibility, giving event planners the freedom to tailor the spaces to their specific needs.
The elegance and scale of the Palos Verdes Grand Ballroom are unique to Terranea Resort. The Palos Verdes Grand Ballroom divides into eight sections and features 23.5 foot ceilings. This cavernous space can accommodate trade shows, receptions or serve as host for large banquettes and receptions. It is strategically located on the main floor of the Resort, near the Lobby, Lobby Bar, Living Room and Terrace. A bold décor aesthetic the color of local sunsets and large "light cloud" chandeliers create drama that will help forge lasting memories of any event.
The Catalina Room has floor to ceiling glass and an 8,700 square-foot terrace and lawn with views of both the ocean and Catalina Island. The meeting space is located on two levels making transition from general sessions to breakouts to outdoor event facilities seamless for your attendees.
The Terranea Resort Board Rooms are a step above, located on the top floor with furnished roofed Terraces affording commanding views of the coastline and Catalina Island. All Board Rooms come equipped with the expected amenities, but surpass expectations by including flat screen televisions, gas burning fireplaces, beautifully crafted stone mantelpieces and elegant furnishings.
The outdoor event venue has nine individual terraces and lawns, all offering full ocean views.
