The Perfect Plate at DT Prime Kitchen
Everyone has a strong opinion about what makes up the “perfect” steakhouse or BBQ plate. Savory. Sweet. Crispy. Creamy. Buttery. Smokey. With a variety of options at DT Prime Kitchen, everything is on the table (quite literally). While the choices may seem overwhelming, our associates hope to inspire by divulging their favorite combinations from catalina kitchen’s delicious buffet selection:
Merika Tu’ua, Food & Beverage Coordinator
I love starting with all-you-can-eat sushi… my go-to is the rainbow roll. The carving station has several of my favorite grilled meats, but my first choices are the tender prime rib, bacon wrapped chicken and smoked pork belly. If I can fit anymore on my plate, I get the steamed snow crab legs.
Kirsten Spitzer, Restaurant Coordinator
First thing I do? Start with dessert. Something sweet just to get started. Then I head over to the salad station and pick my favorite fresh greens. After that it's straight for the grilled meats, and back to desserts for ice cream and crepes!
Rafael Mendoza, catalina kitchen Food & Beverage Manager
Before I get my buffet plate, I look for the bourbon and cab cart. It’s fun having my drink custom made in front of me. My plate always ends up with the same 3 things: ceviche, oysters, and some crispy tri-tip ends.
