Recap: Celebration of Food and Wine at Terranea
Terranea Resort hosted the resort's inaugural Celebration of Food and Wine in Los Angeles on August 10, 2014. This exciting new annual culinary and wine event offered guests special wine seminars led by industry experts and a day of special chef dishes and wine tasting.
The two morning seminar sessions included Bubbles of the World hosted by Master Wine Candidate Stuart Prato and A History of South Africa hosted by award-winning Boela Gerber of Groot Constantia.
The two afternoon seminar sessions included Italian Wines hosted by Premier Italian Wine Importer and Italian Master Sommelier John Cressman and Bordeaux vs. Burgundy hosted by Jason Berry, representing Mark Haisma, Burgundy Négociant.
The food and wine also event included an “Old World vs. New World” luncheon, hosted by French Wine Specialist Paul Swigger and prepared by Terranea’s Executive Chef Bernard Ibarra, and concluded with a ‘Taste of Terranea’ reception featuring dishes from each of Terranea’s restaurants!
