Labor Day Weekend Seafood by the Sea at Terranea Resort in Los Angeles
On Friday, September 2nd, Catalina Kitchen will offer their signature Friday night Seafood Buffet. Diners can dig into king crab legs served table side, paella, cornmeal-crusted catfish with Cajun remoulade, crab & scallop petrale sole with coconut curry sauce, steamed clams and mussels, peel and eat shrimp, oysters, and other savory delights from Chef Rupam. The indulgence continues with an extensive array of desserts from Executive Pastry Chef Perry including Kahlua napoleon bread pudding, chocolate mint sandwiches and lemon chiffon torte.
For diners craving some music with their meal, casual dining destination Nelson’s is offering a Seafood Boil with live music from “The Belmont Bettys” (known for their extensive repertoire from Classic Rock to Reggae to Blues) on Saturday, September 3rd. The expansive buffet includes cherry stone clams, green lip mussels, shrimp, kielbasa sausage, and snow crab legs for adults; and a special kids’ buffet with chicken tenders, penne pasta with turkey meatballs, fruit, and crudités with ranch dressing.
